The Mazda CX-50 is the all-new compact crossover SUV from the Japanese automaker. It shares a platform with the Mazda 3 and CX-30. Compared to its predecessor, the CX-50 is larger and a lot more rugged. With the addition of the CX-50, Mazda is aiming to compete with the Toyota RAV4 and the Hyundai Tucson.
The Mazda CX-50 is available in several trim levels, and the price varies with the features you choose. The base 2.5 S model starts at $26,800. However, there are also turbocharged models, which will start at $42,775.
In addition to the turbocharged model, the 2.5 S comes with a 187-hp naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine. This model isn’t quite as powerful as the Honda CR-V or the Jeep Cherokee, but it will tow up to 3,500 pounds with the optional trailer brake controller.

Off-road driving mode

You can choose from three drive modes: Sport, Towing, and Off-Road. Mazda’s Mi-Drive technology works to make the CX-50’s responsive in all of these situations, while maintaining the vehicle’s normal mode feel.
G-Vectoring Control (GVC) is another feature of the CX-50. In Sport mode, the weight shifts to the front tires to improve cornering turn-in. However, in Off-Road, the weight is placed on the rear tires to optimize traction and stability on loose gravel.
Rear-seat room
