Modern SUVs

Modern SUVs provide family drivers with all of the space, versatility, capability, and fuel efficiency needed to manage their hectic lives. These models combine ruggedly handsome exterior styling with contemporary cabin features like passenger and cargo space; luxurious amenities; and eco-friendly tech features for optimal family driving experiences.

The 2021 Mazda CX-30 stands out as an attractive subcompact SUV offering an upscale interior and engaging driving dynamics – not to mention an impressive 2,000-pound towing capacity.

Aston Martin DBX

The Aston Martin DBX SUV marks its debut attempt at an SUV. It is an attractive and capable ride that manages to strike a balance between being seductive and entertaining while remaining practical and spacious, providing an attractive alternative to Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Bentley Bentayga, and Rolls-Royce Cullinan models.

Its twin turbocharged V-8 delivers 542 horsepower and sends power directly to all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission, accelerating it from zero to 60 in just 4.3 seconds and reaching top speeds of 181 mph. Furthermore, its exhaust note adds character and individuality that further adds charm.

In addition to its powerful V-8 engine, Aston’s DBX stands out due to its premium interior and dynamic driving dynamics. Riding smoothly on 22-inch wheels and being easier than expected from a luxury SUV; steering response is direct and eager for corners – it feels almost like driving a sports car at times! Aston offers several distinct driving modes for further customization of engine and chassis settings while Sport+ makes this luxurious ride feel even more powerful.

Cargo space in this luxury SUV is ample, and when the rear seats fold flat they open up nearly 75 cubic feet of cargo area – enough for two large suitcases or furniture pieces. Inside is luxurious with brogued leather seating surfaces and unique design elements like brogued stitching that set it apart from rival models. However, its technology may become outdated over time when compared with rival vehicles; Aston must offer more advanced features like radar cruise control and an OLED navigation screen to stay competitive in this class.

Aston’s debut SUV offering is an impressive success and should appeal to affluent buyers seeking something sexier than the mainstream SUVs currently on the market. But its premium pricing keeps it from truly competing against cars like Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Bentley Bentayga, Audi Q7 and Mercedes G-Class; more moderate pricing coupled with cutting-edge driver assistance technology could give it an edge against its competition.

BMW XM

The BMW M division’s new SUV, the XM is an electric hybrid SUV featuring both an electric motor and V8 engine to provide you with an SUV capable of travel around town independently as well as taking on track laps when you feel the urge. While its design might take risks, its fans appreciate its bold appearance: with angular shapes, large front grille and LED lights illuminated kidney grilles giving this bold SUV its distinctive style and striking aesthetic that will turn heads wherever it travels.

The interior of the XM is relaxing and spacious, offering ample storage and an inviting view out across its huge bonnet. The seats are extremely supportive and ergonomically shaped so you can truly sink into them for maximum comfort. Everything can be controlled via voice command via its touchscreen infotainment system which features navigation apps and music streaming services; plus it enables safety features of the vehicle itself via this screen.

On the road, the XM performs admirably. While its suspension may be stiffer than some SUVs, it still feels composed when maneuvering tight corners or twisty roads. Equipped with standard steel springs paired with adaptive dampers for precise handling. Even sports cars can keep pace on track despite its massive size and nearly 3-ton weight!

However, its dual roles of high-performance SUV and luxurious luxury vehicle often comes at the cost of ride comfort. The firmness of its suspension can make daily drives uncomfortable when traversing potholes or other irregularities on roads; so if you’re shopping for performance SUVs I would suggest exploring other options with better ride quality.

One of the XM’s unique capabilities is its ability to motor around town on its own power. Its 197-hpn electric motor can propel it silently up to 50 miles on a charge, making it a fantastic solution for running errands in urban settings. However, pure electric mode may prove frustrating when trying to navigate tight parking spots or narrow driveways.

Porsche Cayenne

The Porsche Cayenne is an imposing midsize luxury SUV, providing both on-road exhilaration and off-road capability. Equipped with powerful engines and innovative technologies that elevate driving experiences – such as intelligent connectivity technology and driving assistance systems. The Cayenne sets a new benchmark among modern SUVs with its distinctive styling, cutting-edge technologies and dynamic performance capabilities.

Porsche has updated the cabin of their popular SUV for 2023. Changes include an updated 12.6-inch digital gauge cluster and touchscreen infotainment system located on the center console, plus dual 7.0-inch displays in the rear seat entertainment system. Furthermore, Porsche also offers the Cayenne with a coupe-like roofline and as a Turbo S E-Hybrid version with an electric motor integrated into its gas engine to increase fuel economy.

Cayenne comes equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 that generates 348 horsepower as its base configuration. An S model features a more seductive 468-hp twin-turbocharged V-8 producing excellent exhaust note; additionally there is also a Turbo S E-Hybrid offering optimal combination of power and efficiency; all models include eight-speed automatic transmissions and all-wheel drive for optimal driving dynamics.

As with other Porsche vehicles, the Cayenne is an absolute joy to drive. The steering is precise with minimal play and plenty of feedback; the body remains light even when fully loaded; adaptive dampers allow for a more relaxed driving experience; adaptive dampers also effectively dampen out ride vibrations for an improved experience.

The Cayenne comes equipped with numerous active safety features, such as park assist. This feature will automatically steer the car into a parking space and guide drivers out, helping them exit when necessary. Furthermore, park assist can detect obstacles in its path and alert its driver of potential danger.

The Porsche Cayenne is designed for city and highway driving alike thanks to its superior acceleration and fuel economy. The interior features comfortable seating with plenty of storage areas for gear – its rear seats fold flat for increased cargo capacity when needed! Plus, its premium amenities and cutting-edge technologies make this car ideal for families or business professionals alike!

Ferrari SUV

If you had told someone 10 years ago that Ferrari would produce an SUV, they’d have laughed in your face. Now, however, the company has released its inaugural SUV model, the Purosangue (Italian for “pure blood”) as its debut SUV model. Combining world-class driving performance with practical features to cater to vacationing families or people wanting to see more of the world while on vacation.

The 2022 Purosangue stands out among luxury SUV competitors like Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga or Lamborghini Urus by appearing to be very different. First of all, its front mid engine design recalls 2+2 coupe heritage while still offering sleek lines unencumbered by roof racks or other unnecessary additions. Plus its rear seats fold down for expanded cargo capacity that goes from approximately 2.3 tons to over four cubic feet!

Some have argued that the Purosangue isn’t actually an SUV; rather it is more accurately classified as a “modern GT.” As such, its tall and broad profile may remind some of a traditional GT but remains more compact than Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo’s massive proportions. That may be true; however its distinctive styling and ability to transport four passengers at high speed makes the name suitable.

Ferrari plans on equipping their flagship with a 715 horsepower naturally aspirated V12, coupled with an all-wheel drive system and hybrid technology. They also plan two all-electric variants designated F2444 and F245.

One advantage of Purosangue’s late entry into the SUV market was being able to learn from other competitors and avoid some of their missteps. Ferrari for instance decided on using its own platform rather than sharing one with another manufacturer like other luxury brands; as a result, their model stands out among competitors by being both appealing and fast in its class.

There’s sure to be an SUV out there that’s perfect for you, with so many models on the market today. To explore some of these performance SUVs in greater depth, reach out to us in Scottsdale, AZ to arrange a test drive at our dealership.
