Top Full-Size SUVs Of 2019

The full-size SUVs are not as popular as they used to be but they are still a huge market. These vehicles went through fuel crises and so much more. Now that we have access to low fuel prices, the longevity of the full-size SUV is higher than in recent year.

There are numerous large SUVs that can be considered but the ones below are considered to be the very best by most reviewers out there.

Chevrolet Tahoe

The Chevrolet Tahoe has a longer wheelbase than the other full-size SUVs by GM, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade. However, the Tahoe is lower in rankings than Suburban and Yukon because of a shorter wheelbase guise. We do have a third-row seat that is a little cramped and not much cargo space is available. In GMC Yukon there is more space available, with Suburban having a lower price tag. Chevrolet Tahoe is cheaper though, offering a standard V8 with 355 hp. The optional engine is V8 with 420 hp.

GMC Yukon

GMC Yukon is a little pricier but it is offering a longer wheelbase in Yukon XL. We do have a higher price, especially when looking at the trim levels that are more luxurious. However GMCs are capable haulers. You can specify the seating you want, all going up to 8 passengers, with trucks giving access to towing capacity of 8100 pounds.

Lincoln Navigator

Similarly to Expedition, the really glitzy Lincoln Navigator comes with extended and regular body styles. Lincoln is better than Ford’s Expedition because of the highly luxurious trimmings. They do create justice in the price tag. The standard equipped engine is a V6 twin-turbocharged with 450 hp that is more than enough to power the Lincoln Navigator. Composure is also quite high.

Chevrolet Suburban

This is the longer of the 2 full-size SUVs under the Chevrolet brand. It does perform duties really well for families in the US for so many years right now. The cost is quite reasonable, making it really affordable. The standard engine for the Chevrolet Suburban is a V8 355 hp with an automatic transmission (6-speed). There are 2 tow-friendly configurations available, allowing a towing ability of 8300 pounds. A maximum of 9 passengers can be accommodated.

Mercedes-Benz GLS Class

Few people ever expected Mercedes-Benz to be on the list of the very best full-size SUVs but the GLS-class is definitely wonderful. It is not the largest SUV and does have a hefty price tag of $70,000. The 7-seat SUV has luxury trimmings that are stunning and class-leading driving capability. Thousands more can be paid for another larger SUV but the ride will be rougher and fuel consumption higher. In the Mercedes-Benz GLS you get a V6 standard twin-turbocharged 362 hp engine. The value of the full-size SUV is simply incredibly high, making it the best for 2 years.
