Chevrolet Traverse 2015 Review

The Chevrolet Traverse 2015 does not stand out as the top of the affordable large SUVs but it is a vehicle that you may want to consider because of some interesting advantages. In most cases people are really impressed by the spacious interior, which is something that is of high importance for a large part of the buyers. You gain access to a really adult friendly third row and a lot of cargo space.

When we look at the included V6 engine, we can say that the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse does offer a lot of power but in some cases it will feel a little sluggish as you try to pass traffic that is slower. The 6 speed automatic gearbox could be a little quicker when referring to downshifting as that is when more power is necessary and is not delivered. The fuel economy is also a little bit lower when looking at the competition, with a rating of 17/24 miles per gallon on city/highway. However, the ride is balanced and comfortable. It is not that sporty but handling is stable, which is something that you do want.

As already mentioned, the cabin is really spacious and you will appreciate the use of really good materials. Higher trims actually upscale really well. The third row is great for adults and we do have a lot of cargo space. You will be able to take advantage of useful standard features like USB port, rearview camera, touch-screen audio system and phone connectivity through Bluetooth. The MyLink infotainment system is included and the audio system is built around 10 speakers, with a rear seat special entertainment system. You get forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning and leather seats as optionals.

Conclusions

Chevrolet Traverse 2015

On the whole, the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse’s stronger selling point is the space it manages to offer, being perfect for family or friends going away for the weekend. We are faced with a flexibility that is not available in some of the competition and the crash scores are really high. We noticed an interesting re-styling and almost all reviewers are happy with what the SUV offers.
